How are you doing?
I'm pretty full-out with our new baby boy -- Alison birthed Loie Roberts on July 26th.
With Loie in my arms so much of the time, I'm delighted our community has come together and we are hard at work gearing up to host a music festival on our land next weekend. That's right -- Halifriends is on!
Halifriends is our 2nd Annual Music Weekend here on Quill Nook Farm, Halifax, Vermont. It's coming up Saturday, August 17th, and you're invited!
What is Halifriends all about?
Twelve bands are coming here to Halifax from all over New England to play a full day of independent music to an intimate gathering, right here in our goat pasture.
But it's also a lot more than that. Join us next Saturday to feel part of something special -- a community-for-a-day of music lovers nestled into an out-of-the-way Vermont homestead. We're doing this event because we love music and we love community.
Tickets are now officially on sale on Eventbrite, with all ticket sales go to the bands.

Everything you need to know about Halifriends:
What: Our 2nd annual rock and indie music festival features 12 curated local bands playing in our pasture all day to a small friendly gathering.
When: Saturday, August 17th, Noon to late.
Where: Quill Nook Farm, Halifax, Vermont. (25 minutes from Brattleboro, 20 minutes from Wilmington, 50 minutes from Northampton, MA)
The lineup features an eclectic selection of artists from all over New England ranging from folk singer-songwriter to dance music to psychedelic rock:
